Stari Grad
Like the whole of Hvar this city belongs to Żupani Splitsko- Dalmatinska. As a port city, it is a stopover for almost every tourist who comes to the island of Hvar, unless you have your own yacht to sail directly to the city of Hvar. This town is known for its well-preserved historical center which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among the interesting monuments, we will certainly find 16th-century fortress, and the oldest agricultural areas as a Stari Grad Plain. Staying in this place you will not be bored, you can try wine from local wineries or original olive oil from nearby crops, also you can find many short cruises to nearby islands.
