Great place to relax in Krakow. The Bagry Lake, as well as others in the vicinity of Krakow, is an artificial lake and was a quarry. This lake was created in 1945 when was flooded. This is Krakow's water attraction located in the Plaszow district. In addition to swimming, you can go sailing, sunbathing and windsurfing here. There are several beaches and a marina on the lake. As a commercial water sports destination, it is unusual due to the presence of ducks, swans and geese, and fish. The biggest depth is about 10 meters, but its area is over 30 hectares.
